Filling in the space beneath a Queenslander highlights a shortcoming in the typology due to the presents challenges through inheriting the deep floorplate which creates a centre that is quite distant from the exterior. This design mediates this condition by subdividing both the floorplate and the site, into a series of interconnected territories that offer the occupants an engaging variety of connections to both the landscape and to other spaces.
